2019 Sami-Odi Hoffmann Dallwitz Syrah

Tasting Note

A heroic and deeply expressive release, the 2019 Hoffmann Dallwitz Syrah captures the intensity of the sun-drenched Eben-Ezer soils. The nose is wonderfully complex, revealing dark berries, malt, liquorice, black olive, dried leaves and subtle earthy nuances.

The palate is concentrated yet finely sculpted, with layers of blackberry, plum, savoury spice, forest floor and game. Despite its density, the wine retains freshness and remarkable elegance. Long, refined tannins build gradually across the palate, delivering a powerful and age-worthy finish.

A magnificent expression of old-vine Barossa Syrah that balances concentration with finesse.
