Meet the Winemaker: Phil Hession from Paternoster Winery | 25 Oct
We’re delighted to welcome Phil Hession, winemaker and owner of Paternoster, to MuNoir on Sunday, 25 October.
Our 18 October tasting is now sold out, but we’re opening another afternoon with Phil on 25 October.
What draws us to Phil’s wines is his relentless pursuit of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that express place, patience and precision. These are wines that are not made to impress at first glance, but to reveal themselves slowly, with detail, texture and depth, rewarding the time you give them.
Join us for an afternoon with Phil as he takes us through his wines and shares the winemaking philosophy, decisions and stories behind them. The tasting will take us across nearly two decades of Paternoster Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, including the 2006, 2007 and 2010 vintages.
We’ll be tasting
• 2024 Paternoster Premium Chardonnay
• 2019 Paternoster Jack of Heart Chardonnay
• 2018 Paternoster Premium Pinot Noir
• 2010 Paternoster Premium Pinot Noir
• 2006 Paternoster Premium Pinot Noir
• 2007 Paternoster Heaven’s Door Pinot Noir
Date: Sunday, 25 October 2026
Time: 2–4pm
Ticket: $79 per person
Your ticket includes the winemaker-led tasting and MuNoir snacks to share.
You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase selected Paternoster wines directly from Phil at cellar door prices.
Limited spots available.
Join us for an afternoon of exceptional wines, thoughtful conversation and good company.
