2019 Rockford Rod & Spur Shiraz Cabernet

2019 Rockford Rod & Spur Shiraz Cabernet is a beautifully balanced, structured Barossa‑style red, combining old-vine Shiraz spice with Cabernet backbone. On the palate: generous black fruit — crunchy blackberries and cassis — layered with warm baking spice, a touch of mocha, and leafy herbal notes. The tannins are soft yet firm, giving texture and structure without harshness. Acidity is fresh, lifting the fruit and keeping the wine lively. 

The finish is long and satisfying, with persistent dark fruit, spice, and a gentle vanilla character. 

This wine is drinking well now but has cellaring potential — expect it to develop further complexity over the next 5–8 years.
