2024 Copperhead Yarra Valley Zweigelt 

• Zweigelt is a red grape variety originally from Austria. It was created in 1922 by Dr. Fritz Zweigelt as a cross between St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch. It is now Austria’s most widely planted red grape. 

• A bright and expressive cool-climate red from a unique grape variety. The nose opens with juicy red cherry, cranberry, and subtle hints of violet and spice. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with fresh red fruit, gentle tannins, and a crisp, linear acidity that gives lift and finesse. A rare and elegant expression, showcasing the freshness and purity of the Yarra Valley.
