2023 Rockford Eden Valley Riesling

2023 Rockford Eden Valley Riesling is a crisp, mineral‑driven Riesling that marries purity with texture. It reflects its high-altitude Eden Valley origins — delicate yet intense. 

On the nose, there’s a complex perfume of chamomile, honeyed florals, and zesty citrus — lime and yuzu among them. The palate is generous yet finely balanced: flavours of pineapple, pear, and dried dates mingle with a subtle chalky grip, giving both richness and tension. 

The finish is long and harmonious, with lingering notes of lime and honey, bright acidity, and a refined mineral backbone. 

This Riesling has excellent ageing potential. While it’s perfectly drinkable now, its structure and minerality suggest it can develop more depth — particularly through 5–10 years in the cellar.
